It was during the facilitation ceremony held and organized by Army Dagger Division at Baramulla, that an important announcement was made. The Army said that, “We are expanding our Super-30 coaching programme for engineering aspirants of the Kashmir Valley.” All the students who have attended this ceremony were from Kashmir valley who had previously attended Kashmir Super-30 engineering coaching programme in 2015-16.
Also the good news that was shared with the attendees was that out of 26 students who gave JEE exam, 15 of them have successfully cleared the exam as per the result that was declared on 27th April.
“Facing stiff competition wherein close to 15 lakh candidates had appeared in this exam at the National level, the success of 15 students from J&K testifies to the professional conduct of the Super 30 programme. Eleven successful candidates now are eligible for the IIT (Advance) exam in May 2016 while all fifteen can seek admissions in various engineering colleges as per their merit,”
In order to motivate the coming batches, the Army spokesperson said, “Conducted by the Dagger Division, on behalf of Chinar Corps, the Army’s Super 30 programme gives 11 months free coaching to a select group of 30 students from J&K for the Joint Entrance Exam for Engineering Courses,”
After all, it’s one great achievement to crack a national level engineering examination with flying colors. To make sure that such a winning streak should continue with every next batch of Super 30, free 11 months coaching will be provided from now on. The other Army spokesperson added that “The Super 30 students are selected based on a statewide exam conducted by the Army with its training partner Center for Social Responsibility & Leadership (CSRL). All students are afforded free lodging, boarding and educational facilities under the programme.”
