The ‘out of the nick’ exit of Priyanka Chopra from Salman Khan’s Bharat has found its new leading lady in Katrina Kaif.
Salman Khan recently posted a photo of Katrina Kaif announcing her entry into the leading cast of “Bharat”. He tweeted: “Ek sundar aur shusheel ladki jiska Naam hai Katrina Kaif …. Swagat hai aapka Bharat ki zindagi mein.”
“I am extremely excited to work with Katrina Kaif and Salman Khan once again for ‘Bharat’. We have had exciting collaborations in the past and it is very interesting to work with the duo once again. It is very delightful to work with the immensely talented actress yet again,” Bharat director Ali Abbas Zafar said.
The movie has been making headlines due to its strong lead cast. It garnered more attention after the news of Peecee exiting the movie spread like wildfire. Salman and Katrina Khan have performed in several blockbuster films together. These are Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. The first schedule of the movie has already been shot and it is a circus sequence featuring Salman Khan opposite Disha Patani.
Bharat is amping up the excitement levels with its unique concept. The movie will be showing the 60-year long journey of the cast who will be seen in five different looks. What Salman’s fans are anticipatedly waiting for is to see him in a 20s phase – all thin and young-looking. He will be playing the role of a stunt artiste.
Bharat which is an official adaptation of the South Korean film – Ode To My Father, is slated to release on Eid 2019.
