Bollywood meets Politics: PM Modi very receptive about our concerns, says Varun Dhawan

Bollywood, Business and Politics are undoubtedly the pillars of India. And when there is marriage between these elements, magic is bound to happen. Recently, Bollywood actors met PM Narendra Modi to thank and express their gratitude for reducing the GST rates on movie ticket prices.

The most iconic actors of Bollywood were present at the Prime Minister’s office to meet and greet him. Some of the many names included Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Karan Johar, Bhumi Pedenkar, Ekta Kapoor, etc. It seems to have been a long conversation , as almost all of them got a chance to pose with PM Modi.

Here are the images posted by the actors on social media:

The images have got us thinking that the conversation was really fruitful for all the people in attendance. What Varun Dhawan wrote in his caption is quite reflective of how the meeting went by. His caption read: “Was an honour to meet and interact with the honourable prime minister @narendramodi. Very grateful to him for the reduction of GST which will be a big boost to the economics of our film industry. He was very receptive about our concerns which was honestly very cool. Ps- I missed eye contact here cause I was taking facing ? #jaihind

The Modi government is receptive to the needs of the industry and making smart moves to ensure that the economics of the film don’t suffer.

Movies like The Accidental Prime Minister, Uri, Narendra Modi Biopic are forging a strong marriage between Bollywood and Politics, redefining the nuanced relationship between the two.
