Chief Minister Raje to unveil infrastructure projects worth Rs 2,000 crore for Jaipur

Today, being one of the biggest developing countries in the world, India is committed towards developing its economy and raising the living standards of the people. Development is not only about factories, dams and roads but also about the residents of a particular state/country. The goal is material, spiritual and cultural fulfillment for the people as the human factor is of supreme value in the development. Whatsoever a state government do always must have people on priority and why not, when the government is made by the people, of the people and most importantly for the people. So does the Chief Minister of the largest state of India Rajasthan, Smt. Vasundhara Raje believes. Her continuous efforts, far-sightedness, agendas and plans for the state and its people have certainly turned the tables around in the state. She has showed it to the world out there the Rajasthan is much more than desert and forts.

Infrastructure development in any country is vital. Never before in the history has innovation offered promise of so much to so many in such a short time. Vasundhara Raje with her team Rajasthan has one by one fulfilled all the promises made during the elections and through her budget. Investing in the Infrastructure development in the state will eventually help in rebuilding communities to create jobs. Vasundhara Raje understands that infrastructure development creates a form of city and enables life to go on in a certain way. By improving the infrastructure of the state, it helps create economic development, puts more people to work and most important enhances safety and improves local communities. With the same ideology, CM Raje on Wednesday will inaugurate infrastructure projects worth Rs 2000 crore. These projects are aimed at benefiting the residents of the capital pink city Jaipur.

This inauguration of the infrastructure projects will in a way show the strength of the ruling party in the state-BJP. The inauguration ceremony is scheduled at the Birla Auditorium in Jaipur at 04:30 pm which will be witnessed by Councillors, ministers, other party people and the city residents. Though, the next state assembly elections are still two and a half years away, BJP with the number of developmental works it has done, is sure of winning them again. CM Raje believes that the people of her state are her real strength and thus have done every possible effort in order to upgrade their living standards. Her every policy, initiative, plans and agendas that she has started or has taken forward from the previous government has benefited the people of the state in large.

Urban Development and Housing minister (UDH) Rajpal Singh and minister of social justice and empowerment Arun Chaturvedi, held a meeting of the Councillors in the regard of this infrastructure projects launch on Monday. “As the BJP government will be launching so many infrastructure projects during their tenure, the Councillors have been told to gather crowd to educate them about the works. Directions have also been given to start plantation drive in our wards and promote these projects in public,” a BJP councillor present in the meeting said.
He added that, “During the state government’s anniversary function and smart city launch in June, the crowd at Birla Auditorium was not large. However, this time, the Councillors have been told in advance.”

The list of projects which will be inaugurated include elevated road (Bais Godam to Sodala), three railway over bridges, rejuvenation of Dravyavati River and three new parks, among many others. An official said, “Simplex Infrastructures Ltd (SIL), which has been awarded work for the elevated project, has already started the work on site. Similarly, rejuvenation work of Dravyavati river is moving in full swing.”

Over the past couple of years, JLN Marg has become the lifeline of the pink city Jaipur as it connects the city’s major areas and offices. The Jaipur Development Authority has also proposed to widen the bridge up to six lanes between Genpact office and World Trade Park. Along with this, CM Raje will also inaugurate construction of over bridges and underpasses at major railway crossings in the city. At the Sitapura Industrial Area, which falls on Jaipur-Mumbai-Sawai Madhopur route, the state government will construct the longest RoB of the city, which will be 1.2 km long. The construction of RoB will benefit Ramchandra Industrial Area, institutes and a number of colonies in nearby areas.
“The work order of the project has already been issued to a firm two months ago. The construction work is pending as JDA was waiting for CM to inaugurate the project,” said a JDA official source.

CM Raje is certainly all prepared for the next assembly elections. She believes in development of the state by taking all together, and so she is doing. Investment in infrastructure is a long term requirement for growth and a long term and a long term factor that will make growth sustainable. Infrastructure sector is all about building assets of the country. It is part of the nation building. By taking Rajasthan to greater heights, CM Raje is moving forward on the same path.
