Google With Other Sites Will Make Sure To Ban Torrent And Piracy From Web

The fight against movie piracy is getting enormous and thus Google is planning to stop all the torrent sites. In coming days, it will be harder to find any traces of torrent on internet. In the recent past, when the main site, kat.cr was banned, many other similar replicas came forward to provide their share of services. To keep the old good, kickass Torrents in working  conditions, these replica attempts are made. Resultantly, the entertainment industry has suffered a great deal out of this losing their part of revenue to some copy cats.

Unfortunately, Google has unknowingly played a big role in making torrent popular among the masses. Thus, to shed away the tag of piracy promoter, the search engine giant entered into discussion with other companies. The discussion was led by Intellectual Property Office, UK.

Big tech giant like Yahoo and Bing have taken oath to control the visibility of torrent sites on web. Thus, a code of practice will be put on search engines by the government under Digital Economy Bill Committee.

To this, Barnoess Buscombe said, “Since the idea was last discussed in [parliament], Intellectual Property Office officials have chaired a further round-table meeting between search engines and representatives of the creative industries”.

He further added, “While there are still elements of detail to be settled, the group is now agreed on the key content of the code and I expect an agreement to be reached very soon.”

Nowadays, there has been a rise in the reports of data being stolen from individual business websites as well, owing to which we have been suggestive of only good website development companies in India.

The decided agreement will apply from June 1, 2017. Nothing is completely assured and finalised because the companies have not decided to reveal anything. The set agreement will be applied in UK as of now and its little hard to say if it will be able to spread uniformly around the world.

As of now, if you search torrent sites on Google, it will show all sites providing links to download.
