Indian PM Narendra Modi with trump sitting beside him at the G7 summit in France strained on the topic that India and Pakistan were united in one before 1947 and all the issues developing between them will be solved bilaterally, thereby rejecting any interference by the third party.

There are many bilateral issues between India and Pakistan, and we don’t want to trouble any third country. We can discuss and resolve these issues bilaterally,” PM Modi said while addressing the media with trump alongside him before their talks at the G7 Summit.

US President Trump has offered twice to meddle in the Kashmir issue and he presented himself in front of the media by saying, “We spoke last night about Kashmir and the Prime Minister really feels that he has the situation under control.”

The US president disclosed that he spoke to PM Modi “thoroughly” last night.

I have a very good relationship with both the gentlemen (Modi and Khan) and I’m here. I think they can do it (resolve the issue) themselves,” he said.

“We are talking about trade, we’re talking about military and many different things. We had some great discussions, we were together last night for dinner and I learned a lot about India,” said the US President.

Before the meeting of two leaders, it was expected that the tension on Kashmir issue and trade will be their agenda of discussions, with US officials adding that Prez Trump will raise the topic of restrictions and arrest of leaders in Kashmir.
