Before the monsoon session could commence in the parliament, PM Narendra Modi’s Cabinet Ministers have been reshuffled. PM Modi presented a new list of his cabinet ministers which included several new ministers; some reshuffling and some have been removed from the cabinet. The sources said that this will strengthen the Modi-led government with “experience, expertise and energy” and the centre will be able to deliver more.
Sources said the PM laid down the selection procedure “to bring in doers and performers who would deliver on his vision of development and good governance, and further his central priority of gaon (villages), garib (poor) and kisan (farmers).” “New ministers were identified from various walks of life to bring to bear their unique rich experience and expertise to their office,” sources said.
Along with adding 19 new ministers, Modi has also removed a few. The members who are no more a part of the Modi cabinet are Mohan Kundaria, Ramshankar Kataria, Nihal Chand, Mansukh Vasava, Siddeswara and Sannwarlal Jat.
