‘Take a great land towards a greater destiny’: Rajasthan Day 2017 recaptured the awe of Rajasthan

The mesmerizing lands of Rajasthan witnessed an awe-inspiring culmination of colourful events. The traditional lands of Rajasthan was celebrating it’s 68th Rajasthan Day celebrations, in which the state drenched in vibrant hues, captivating performances and showcase of contemporary art.

The four-day Rajasthan Day commenced on March 27. A myriad of artful and soul-wrenching activities were presented at the event. The festival offered bewitching performances galore.

The chief guest of the ceremony was Rajmata Ashi Dorji Vagmo Wangchuk of Bhutan’s royal family. Wangchuk was accompanied by her family and was treated with high standards of hospitality in ‘Rajasi Andaaz’. She was accompanied by Rajasthan Chief Minister, Vasundhara Raje.

On the concluding day of the festival, an out of this world ‘Laser show’ was presented to the audience amidst the glittery night stars. The laser show was held at the Vidhan Sabha, Jaipur. And the location clubbed with the arrangement couldn’t have got any better.

A clash of laser lights engendered a beautiful presentation of Rajasthan success story. It was flashed on the monumental Vidhan Sabha, the visual of which was breathtaking yet inspiring.

A soothing voice in the backdrop was played in coordination with the laser visuals shown  to aid people—from child to super-citizens, job person or businessman, all were present at this juncture of aesthetics and arts.

There were brilliant fireworks which brightened up the dazzling night even more. The famous Ila Arun and a famous male voice sang the groovy song curated for accentuating beauty and unexplored Charm of Rajasthan.

The laser show was followed by a much-awaited Kavi-Sammelan at the Albert Hall, Jaipur. It was aimed at tickling your funny bones and it did exactly this.  Huge number of people flocked to the event for satiating their laughter cravings.

Ustaad Chugge Khan and his band ‘Rajasthan Josh’ also performed on the third day of Rajasthan Day. Chugge Khan is a talented Rajasthani artist who is a renowned singer in geographies of Rajasthan and beyond.

Struck with the magical extravaganza of the charming evening in Rajasthan, all visitors spewed joy and jovial tales of lifetime experience.
