Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is leaving no stone unturned to set Rajasthan as an example for other developing states. With each new day, she is trying her best possible to make Rajasthan a front-runner in all sectors. With the completion of 2 years, Vasudhara Raje has started a comprehensive stock taking exercise to evaluate the effect and completion of budget announcements. She has conducted several review meetings of various departments not just to keep a check on the progress but also to review the problems that are being faced. Basically, Rajasthan Government is all set to evaluate and monitor itself – something that usually doesn’t happen in other states.
Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje in a meeting at her residence reviewed the progress and inquired about the difficulties being faced in various road projects being constructed by the Public Works Department and National Highways Authority. The development is on a new notch with more than 96 kilometers of road is being constructed every single day.
At an another review meeting with the cooperative department, CM Raje instructed the officials to explore ways to provide medicines to the pensioners so they do not face the problem of going to the drug stores. At another important meeting with the Transport Department, she directed the officials of all the district transport divisions to provide license to the applicants on the same day as applied for. She also instructed the officials to develop a way bridge on the international borders and complete the process of computerization at the earliest.
CM Raje further instructed the Rajasthan State Pollution Control Board to form a legislation to streamline operations in the textile industry areas of the state. Reviewing the progress of the Forest Department, she scrutinized the recruitment of forest guards, Van-Dhan Yojna, Crocodile park in Udaipur, Nature Park in Churu and the Biological Park in Udaipur among the various other things.
Lately, she also reviewed the work done by the Department of Revenue and colonization and inquired about the computerization, digitalization and the online settlement of land records. Later in the month she also apprehended a review meeting of the Department of Mines and Petroleum where the officials said that to bring the transparency in work the online management system has been developed.
The newly launched series of tourism advertisement of Rajasthan says all about the gravity of Tourism in CM’s list of priorities. To further develop the tourism sector of the state, CM Raje took a meeting of the Tourism Department and emphasized that the projects must be completed within time to give Rajasthan tourism the impetus it needs. In the meeting she also discussed the preparations of the approaching Rajasthan Diwas in March.
Soon after she took a meeting of the Small and Medium Enterprises Department and highlighted that the official shall work keeping in mind the vision of the development of the state. She further directed the officials to examine and study the improvement works being done in Punjab, Maharashtra and Gujarat in the fields of ease of doing and investment promotion.
She has undoubtedly achieved a lot in the past couple of years and surely looks composed to achieve more for the approaching years.
