Along with launching Reliance Jio 4G service in September, Mukesh Ambani also announced a battery of apps to ensure all users have a productive time while using Jio services.
Jio has ushered in a trail of surprises for it’s users across the country. With the New Year offer, extending time for free calls and 4G service. Jio has not left any chance to surprise and please it’s customers.
Quite recently, Jio has added a new feature to these apps. Now, users of JioCinema and JioMusic will be able to schedule movie or music downloads between 2 AM and 5 AM (Jio Happy Hours) when the data charges won’t apply.
Along with the usual ‘download now’ option, there is a new ‘Smart Download’ option in these two apps. To download music and movies during the Jio Happy Hours, users need to schedule the download and keep the data connection during the wee hours.
To avail this facility, all users need to do is download the JioCinema and JioMusic apps from the App store or Google Playstore.
After the expiry of the Welcome Offer with 4GB free 4G data per day, the Happy New Year Offer came into existence offering just 1GB free 4G data per day.
Apparently, there has been no effect of the New Year limit on the happiness/ satisfaction quotient of existing customers. Jio users can now use unlimited 4G data between 2 AM and 5 AM and download their favourite movies. And all this absolutely free.
Not only this, the applications have also undergone minor performance improvements and bug fixes to ensure better efficiency and speed.
