It has been 11 whole years since we last saw Shaktimaan on our TV sets. The good news it that the very familiar and desi superhero is returning on the small screens. Don’t believe us? Well, the man behind Shaktimaan’s powerful delivery and heroism, Mukesh Khanna himself told the media that the show is all set to return and get some new fans from the current generations. After all, this fact that India also participates actively in the superheroes list is a big thing and should be given utmost importance. Who knows that one day, Shaktimaan can beat out villains with more ease than Batman or Superman. Who knows that kids will wear golden sun signed apparel like the blue superman and black batman t shirts.
Now one thing can definitely comes to our mind is that Mukesh Khanna is not young enough to play the part of a Superhero as he did 11 years back. But when the actor said, “People relate to me as Shaktimaan and I can’t offer the role to anyone,” we couldn’t agree with him more. So in order to play the exact brave charm and stance Khanna is preparing himself to be back in shape. Having already lost 8 kgs while getting trained, Khanna’s adamancy to be back as Shaktimaan is quite commendable.
This news is the perfect nostalgic note which will hit every kid born in the 90’s. For them Sundays will be like those forgone Sundays with goofy and geeky Pandit Gangadhar leading a normal life and simultaneously is the very strong Shaktimaan who fights a different crime case each time.
