Telecom Minister meets CEOs of Mobile Service

The call drop issue nowadays is seeking serious attention from the responsible departments assigned for the Telecom industry. Manoj Sinha, the Telecom Minister of our country decided to hold a meeting with fellow CEOs of the top listed mobile companies.

One reliable source from the telecom industry notified the media about this meeting saying, “The telecom minister has called a meeting with chief executive officers of telecom operators to discuss industry issue, including call drops.”  This will be the first ever meeting between both the parties involved.

The reason is quite evident as the call dropping problem is gaining much hype and that too negative.

The three main companies which got jammed with call dropping complaints are Reliance, Bharti Airtel and Vodafone with 9,720 problems of poor services already recorded in TRAI’s database till 30th June 2016.

The issue it created went ahead and knocked up Supreme Court and the moment the highest legal authority of the county got involved, it was like a wake-up call for the telecom minister to act responsively.
