Singh is Bliing:

The weekend saw two big releases which are hopping up in the conscious minds of many. One is the much awaited “Singh is Bliing” that was captivating many with the jatt glamour and after the big success of Singh is King, this desperation was quite expected. Singh is Bliing, the Akshay Kumar starrer seems to imbibe the essence of comedy and the silly acts of Akshay Kumar where he already gave good belly laughs. With the sky rising expectation from this film, audience will not be able to resist the gleeful act.

Singh is Bliing‘s opening credits roll against a remixed version of Sneha Khanwalkar’s fantastically peppy “Tung Tung”. The film puts you in questionnaire about the immense energy that Akshay throws in the entire film, and on top of that whimsical yet humorous side of Lara Dutta which was not discovered before.

Akshy Kumar plays Raftaar singh, a punjabi lad who from his previous avtar aka Raftaar singh is good for nothing, but you know where his Raftaar lands him in this part? Yes, he goals for Goa in Singh is Bliing and usher his charismatic aura. The performance by Sara aka Amy Jackson wobbled the eyes and she is one fire in the movie with the pepped up beauty who strikes in the heart of Kumar. Rafter Singh and Amy Jackson duo goes with all the fractions of comedy, love and romance. As Akshay kumar has been one comedy and action package, to ablaze your weekend, go and watch Singh is Bliing to experience the bling in the movie yourself. This Prabhudeva flick is entertaining and the energy filled Akshay amuses audience with head over heels.

Talvaar:

The Aarooshi Talvaar double murder case in Noida left many stoned after the case was digged to deeper pits. A lot had been gone under our eyes after the murder case which turned papers of this mysterious murder case. Talvaar is based on Avirook Sen’s novel which quite filled the thriller fantasy of many and beside that this delivery by director Meghna Gulzar feeds the craving of audience.

If you are looking for razor-sharped thriller, this is one where Konkona Sen Sharma comes as the mother of a murdered daughter as Nutan Tandon whereas the father figure is played  by Neeraj Kabi as Ramesh. They plays parents of Shruti (Ayesha Parveen) who was mysteriously found dead in her own bedroom. The duo of Vishal Bhardwaj and Meghna Gulzar plays it well to make the movie gripping enough. A tightly written narrative with the most rational views it is one seat jammed movie that keeps you biting your nail. To add more brownie points, the Irrfan Khan investigations certainly boils up the parameters of the movie making it one delight of a thriller.

With the brilliant direction the movie is an intriguing thriller that grips your senses with every passing moment.

The weekend is jam-packed  with these two box-office releases and you need to decide what swings your mood?
