One after the other, the dark web has been swallowing the business of the big movies that would have earned even more. Indian movies have suffered a lot in the past and are still doing it. One after the other Indian movie has been leaked online which has ruined it all for the team. Initially it was the super hit Salman Khan movie Sultan. After Sultan, another bollywood movie Great Grand Masti has leaked bringing its collection down at the box office. Before the industry could have understood what exactly has happened and could have recovered from it, another Tollywood movie, Kabali movie leaked online.
People can easily watch and download Kabali from torrent and other websites which has made it worse for the movie to score at the theatres. Three days before the release of the movie, it got leaked online. Privacy has become the industry’s life-long sworn enemy. A source, who was a part of the production of the movie said, “We have contacted the authorities to pull down all these unauthorised links to the film.”
CBFC chief expressed apprehension and distress and said, “They’ve not even spared Rajinikanth’s film. Kabali was censored in Chennai, so it had nothing to do with our office in Mumbai.”
