Chartered Accountants play fundamental role in making ‘Aam Jan’ comfortable with GST: Rajasthan CM Vasundhara Raje

The upcoming tax regime, GST which is due for roll out on July 1 might have got manufactures in jeopardy, but Rajasthan has been fortunate with the implementation process of GST. Thanks to CM Raje who has done a commendable task at pacifying and cooperating with all those who fall under the ambit of GST registration.

CM Raje highlighted the importance of Chartered Accountants in the adoption of new tax regime Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) in Jaipur. CM Raje inaugurated the Centre of Excellence (CoE) in Chausala near Chaksu District of Jaipur.

She cited the troubles faced during the VAT implementation process and rubbed upon the possibility of similar difficulties/ obstructions which might be faced during the GST implementation. CM Raje shed light on the massive contribution of Chartered Accountants (CAs) in easing out the process of GST implementation.

ICAI is a prestigious institute, said CM Raje. “The Institute provides public with financial policies and taxation schemes to streamline and standardize the financial system of India. It also boosts the accounting and audit systems across the country,” CM Raje added.

This is the second Centre of Excellence (CoE) for ICAI to be opened in India and it is a proud moment for the ‘Chausala‘ to house this Centre of Excellence. CA students pass percentage happens to be the highest from the Rajasthan state. This center also aims to boost skill empowerment among the public officials.

CM Raje reflected the importance of CAs in mitigating issues along with resolving doubts of people who fall under the ambit of GST regime. CAs aid various associations and companies in filing quarterly returns effectively and efficiently. These professionals strive for the benefit of commoners, CM Raje added.

The biggest tax regime in the Indian history is just a few days away from the pan-India rollout and it has got nerves of many rattling with fear and anxiety. It is leaders like CM Raje, UnioN Finance Minister Arun Jaitley who go out of their way to make the Aam Aadmi feel comfortable and resistance-free.
