Raj realises the Resurgent Rajasthan dream with SVP Rs 450-crore textile unit in Jhalawar

Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje is concerned for her state and that can be seen in her agendas and plans for the state and its people. The state no doubt, slowly and gradually has developed and is transforming into a global state. She was on her visit to the Jhalawar district where she inaugurated the Polyester and Cotton Blended Yarn Industries plant which is worth Rs. 450 crore. This plant is by Shri Vallabh Pittie Group and CM Believes that this will absolutely take Rajasthan at greater heights and will the state ahead in the direction of Resurgent Rajasthan. The installed plant has a total number of 1 lakh fully automated spindles and will have the capacity of manufacturing 22,000 tonnes per annum. The company in its BSE statement on Wednesday said “The first phase of the project will employ 500 people and provide a stable source of livelihood to over 30,000 farmers.” Also she founded two new units of the plant by the Pittie Group  at Kotda Jagir village with estimated project cost of Rs 1200 crore. Managing Director of SPV Global Ventures, said, “The textile plant is commissioned under Resurgent Rajasthan project on 25 acre land in nine months.” This plant is aimed at providing employment to more than 500 people of the state.

Chirag Pittie, Managing Director, SV Pittie Group said, “We have commissioned our plant within a record time of just under 9 months. Projects like ours will be helping the Rajasthan government generate sustainable employment.”
“As part of the package, we also have derived significant advantages like interest subsidy, VAT benefit and electricity duty rebate. Our capacity will increase to 200,000 owned spindles as the new plant will produce high quality compact yarn of count 20 to 60. The plant will consume almost 25,000 MT of cotton annually, which will provide employment to over 500 people directly and will annually provide a stable source of livelihood to more than 30,000 farmers,” Pittie said.
“The plant will manufacture combed compact yarn, which sells at a premium in the market over other yarns and commands higher margins,” he continued.

After inaugurating the plant here today, Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje said, “We are committed towards forging partnerships that promote manufacturing and create employment opportunities in Rajasthan. Our mission of ‘Make in Rajasthan’ is complimenting the PM’s vision of ‘Make in India.”

While addressing, CM Raje said, “Rajasthan has become a brand name for investment not only in the country, but worldwide.” CM Raje and team Rajasthan with great efforts had made Rajasthan one of the most suitable states for businesses. In the second edition of Resurgent Rajasthan Summit, the state incurred MoU worth more than 250 crores. She is on her way to fulfil the promises made to the industrialists during the Resurgent Rajasthan second edition. With her efforts and agendas, the day is not far when Rajasthan will shine out as one of the leading states in the country.
