To everyone’s surprise, Renault-Nissan alliance has been highlighted in the month of July in India by Kwid’s success. Kwid has managed to grab the thrid position in the list of Indian Domestic Sales in July. The Franco-Japan collaboration company has been able to sell out almost 18,386 units , and that’s huge.

“Renault-Nissan market share was primarily driven by single model Kwid, which contributed about two-thirds of its July volume as compared to relatively diversified portfolio mix of M&M. Nevertheless, given healthy demand and long waiting period, Kwid’s volumes are expected to remain strong in the near term,” says Subrata Ray, senior group vice president of ICRA.
