Twitter ‘Night Mode’ for Android: No more eye straining Twitterati

Twitter night mode

Twitter is one social networking site which is giving Facebook the toughest competition it can get from any rival. Since its start in 2006, Twitter got a soaring revolution in expression of thoughts. The blue bird carrying crisp tweets from one handle to another became the next best thing after Facebook. Also the way Twitter officialized user’s personal space, all the big celebrities started to enter the #hashtagworld and made Twitter a hit.

Now there is hardly any famous personality who is not unknown to the era of tweets. We all know how Facebook has official and verified pages of famous and designated individuals, but we also know that they have to be verified from Facebook. In Twitter’s case verification exists but it is slightly more believable and easier. As through one on one messaging by tagging handles of other accounts, you would know when a celebrity actually replies to you and makes your day.  In fact, twitter has expanded its verifying criteria which now include users in sports, business, fashion, acting, politics, music, etc. Approaching any big and known person is what makes Twitter peoples favorite.

Today, Twitter has launched a new mode for its Android users. It’s called ‘Night Mode’. We know how harmful our smartphone screens become during late light usage. The light from the screens are really dangerous for our eyes and eyesight and a lot of concentration gets delivered from eyes during night time. Sometimes we just use one eye and browse different apps which is even more harmful.

So to make sure that the Twitterati world gets an ease during night time too, Twitter came up the ‘Night Mode’. You would need the latest version of Twitter app in your smartphone. Then new mode then can be activated by simply clicking on the profile icon. Once you turn it on, the background light of the app would turn dark blue and will have white colored text.

The elimination of eye straining problem is the key focus here. ‘Night mode’ is not at all new because the concept exists in many smartphones where the phone’s screen gets all dark and warmer.

As far as the reports suggest, Twitter for android will have this new Twitter Night Mode now but iOS devices will have to wait for more Twitter updates. Seeing its essentiality, we don’t think it will take much time for Twitter to bring this ‘Night Mode’ for iOS users too.
