COLDPLAY, yes guys, Coldplay is finally going to perform live in India. Excited? Of course you are. There were rumours from a long time that Coldplay might be soon performing live for the Indian audience and now as reported by Mid-Day, daily newspaper, the British pop band is making the trip on 19 November 2016 for sure. That is certainly one good news that we have heard today. The paper quoted their well-placed source who said, “Yes, Coldplay is set to perform in Mumbai on November 19 at the MMRDA and the show is put together by Global Citizen Festival run by Chris Martin.”
Coldplay, the British rock band, is not coming to India for the first time. There have been many times when Coldplay had visited India, but only to shoot several songs. Rumours of Coldplay performing live in India started when the band came to India to shoot for ‘Hymn for the Weekend’, a song from their latest album A Head Full of Dreams in collaboration with Beyonce which was shot in Mumbai and also featured Sonam Kapoor for a one complete second.
According to the same report, people can book tickets online on Book my Show website and application after September 12. We know what are you wondering, he price right? Well that’s what that holds the weight here. As per reports, the lowest ticket starts from 25000 and the highest goes as high as 5 lakh. “The official tickets will go live on Book My Show on September 12 next week and prices start from Rs 25,000 to the highest category tickets at Rs 5 lakh a ticket,” added the source. The grand event will also witness the presence the presence of Jay Z, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, AR Rahman and Deepika Padukone along with Modi and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra.
